    Description

I'm not a piano expert so take that into account. I did have a piano tuner-expert stop-by and he gave it a quick once-over, played some scales, and said he nothing especially wrong with it but the soft action was due to it sitting un-used for decades.  I understand the soundboard is a critical matter, so, following some YouTube advice, I had a friend shine a flashlight from the front of the soundboard and I saw no light coming through from the string-side.  I don't see any cracking at the bridge or ribs and the tone is clear with no tell-tale 'kazoo' effect.
Some of the keys have chipped ivory. I have dated the piano from the serial number - 392211 - to be late 1947.
Apart from the functional evaluation above,
I do not, as a general rule, offer up my opinion on condition.  I allow the photos here to provide the facts.  I have done my best to convey what this Baldwin Piano looks like, both the good and the bad, meaning:  I'm emphatic about photos as an objective measure and thus, leaving condition to the discernment of the buyer.
It's necessary, with eBay's rules, that this sale is "no-returns". The buyer accepts the condition as-is and as-seen on the eBay listing. Any subjective criteria on condition may not be used to reject the purchase. If there is some gross error or misstatement in my offering, I'm obliged by eBay’s buyer protection policy (as well as my own nature) to keep my word.
You, the buyer should contact me via eBay messages to arrange a pick up time. I see no complications with the removal at this location. The piano is on the first floor level to the driveway.
