    Description

    For your consideration, a lovely pair of antique floral watercolor still life paintings on rice paper, circa 19th century China. Floral still lifes in this medium are fairly rare and it’s a treat to offer a matching pair. The paintings have some signs of age related wear (yellowing to the paper, tears, and repairs). The painted wood frames are Victorian era as well and also have some nicks and scratching. The painting on the right appears to have some faded inscription or signature in Chinese at the lower right corner. Signature required for delivery.
